Meet Our Flock
A History of Care
Raising healthy poultry requires more than just land; it demands a deep understanding of the flock's needs and a commitment that spans generations. Our family has spent decades refining the way we approach chicken breeding and daily farm management.
Every aspect of our grounds is designed with the wellbeing of the birds in mind. From spacious coops that offer protection and comfort, to large pastures where the flock can forage naturally, we believe that an active, well-tended environment translates directly into the quality of our farm produce.
Dawn Till Dusk
Our days begin before sunrise. The first priority is always the coops—checking on the welfare of the breeding pairs, collecting the early lay, and distributing fresh feed and clean water.
Throughout the afternoon, we monitor the pasture areas, ensuring the birds have adequate shade and foraging space. It is a continuous, quiet rhythm that defines rural farm life and keeps our flock thriving.
Our Core Practices
We rely on established methods rather than shortcuts, focusing purely on the health of the birds and the integrity of our breeding program.
-
Selective Breeding
We pair strong, healthy stock to maintain breed standards and ensure the vitality of future generations. We observe temperament, laying consistency, and natural resilience carefully.
-
Pasture Foraging
Our chickens spend their days outdoors. Access to natural grasses, insects, and grit is essential for their digestion and overall wellbeing, resulting in robust birds and excellent produce.
-
Natural Maturation
We allow our poultry to grow and mature at a natural pace. No forced lighting cycles or artificial growth accelerators are used on our grounds.
-
Produce Handling
Freshly laid eggs are gathered twice daily, hand-inspected, and gently cleaned without harsh chemicals, ensuring the natural protective bloom remains largely intact.
